I invite you to watch the International Conference of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, Thursday (June 26, 2008) and Friday (June 27, 2008) on The Word Network. The broadcast will start at 8pm central standard time. If you do not receive The Word Network in your area you can view it online at the website of The Word Network.

If I am not mistaken our own International Presiding Bishop Paul S. Morton Sr. will be preaching Thursday and Bishop Niel Jones on Friday. For those who did not already know, The Lord’s Harvest Community Church is affiliated with the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International, located in the South Central District of Oklahoma State.

I was thinking tonight and preparing for Father’s Day. I decided I wanted to do something special for fathers from The Lord’s Harvest Community Church. On Mother’s Day everyone who showed up was invited to go to Olive Garden with us. Although, I don’t think we are going to do the same for Father’s Day, I still wanted to do something special. Not sure what we are going to do, but a special package is my current thought.

SOOOOO, here the deal.

I am looking to bless at least 5 men for Father’s Day. To submit someone for this blessing they must meet the following criteria.

#1 Saturday Worship, you guessed it!! We are moving our worship service back to Saturday afternoon. Starting May 3 @ 3pm we are moving our worship service back to Saturdays. To be honest, I do not see us changing this in the future.
#2 Faith Bites Podcast, I will be starting this back up, real soon. I do not have an exact date, but look for it soon.

#3 CDs, sermons are now being recorded during the worship service and will be available for purchase and/or download.

#4 Local radio broadcast, we are currently researching the possibility of airing a radio broadcast twice a month on KTLV 1220am. KTLV offer streaming on the internet, which allows all of our subscribes the possibility to listen in.
#5 New Website, coming the end of April to go along with the new worship time. The podcast will be free, but sermons will be available for purchase as CDs or mp3 download.
#6 Church Anniversary in June!!! We are currently making plans for our 1st Church Anniversary Celebration. Make your calenders for June 8, 2008 @ 3:30pm. More detail will be available next month.
#7 Sunday Outreach… thats right, worshiping on Saturdays will enable us to reach out to the community on Sundays.
#8 Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International Conference, will be held in Birmingham, Alabama - June 23 - 27, 2008. The theme is “In Pursuit of The Glory.” Although I will not be going, Thursday and Friday’s night services are normally aired on The Word Network which can be watch online. I believe Thursday will be International Presiding Bishop Paul S. Morton Sr. and Friday is guest speaker Bishop Neil Jones.

#9 Saturday nights with the family. Not having to wake up early Sunday mornings means we can stay up late and enjoy each others company.

#10 hmmmmm…. well I cannot type the tenth upcoming thing I am excited about or maybe I can’t think of a tenth. Well… i’ll leave you guessing.

Its been a great week for me and I pray it has been for you too. I thank those of you whom have sent e-mails in response to the messages you receive from us.

Good Friday service at Good Shepherd MBC was great, each of the minister/pastors did an excellent job with the text. Some of the other church in attendance besides The Lord’s Harvest was Mt Moriah Baptist and Pastor Hooks, Christ the King FGBC and pastor McCurdy, Trinity Baptist and pastor Brooks, Christian Valley Baptist and Pastor Johnston, Christian Faith FG and Bishop A. Johnson, Christian Temple and Minister Ryan.

Easter was a blessing even though Kizzy had to stay home with one of our sick daughters, she is MUCH better now. The message was “God So Loved” taken from John 3:16.

Be on the lookout for posting of the old Faith Bites Podcast. I will be transferring files from the old JPB Ministries website and making them available through this site.

This coming Sunday we will look at Matthew 28:19-20, know as the Great Commission. You are always invited to be my guest for our worship service.
